Leadership Public Schools is seeking a part-time Reading Intervention Support Specialist to ensure the success of our students who are working toward grade level literacy.

About The Position:
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of literacy development with experience teaching reading intervention at the middle or high school level (ideally Read 180); a background in planning and executing Professional Development for teacher learning that supports student outcomes; experience coaching teachers; experience managing software and data for student progress monitoring and program planning.
Essential duties of this position:
* This position involves working with LPS high schools in Richmond, Oakland and Hayward sites and requires transportation.
*This position is a 20% school year position (1 day work week or equivalent).
*This position may be combined with the LPS English Language Development Specialist position on a contract basis or as a part time employee.
